Marie R. Winn

MARIE R. WINN is a beautiful Spirit that entered her human existence 08/03/1959, and passed out of it 8/17/2025. Marie, better known as Jeannie by her kin, was so devoted to her Christian faith, that if she could attend church seven days a week, she would. She is survived by her daughter, Marie Harvey; mother, Marie Alexander; father, James Couser Jr.; brothers and wives, Warren and Janice Couser, Timothy and Angie Couser and Donald and Darlene Matthews and Timothy Golson; and her sisters, Elizabeth Couser and Phillena Moss; aunt, Elizabeth Kane; uncles, Herman Boone, Gordon Boone, Clanette Boone, Johnny Couser, Weedy Couser; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended love ones. Marie was preceded in passing by her brothers, James Couser Ill, and Eugene Harvey; uncles, Esias Boone, and Daniel Boone, Duke Couser; and aunt, Ellamae Harris. Marie Winn was a very devoted Christian who dedicated most of her time in praising God, attending churches, singing in choirs and reading the Bible. Her deep christian faith was instilled in her as a youth by her Grandmother, Reverend Marie Boone. Marie was born in Baltimore, Maryland where she graduated from Northwestern High School, and attended one year at Villa Jullie College. She was married to James Winn. Marie was a faithful, devoted and long time member of Shiloh Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. Marie lived in Tacoma WA for 8 years and gained many church relatives that loved her very much. She lived in Florida and attended Crossroad Baptist Church, Edgewood Baptist Church, and the chapel in her Sundale Manor residence. Marie really blossomed when she became a devoted member of Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist Church where she became a deaconess and sang with the choir. Ephesus Church members were so devoted in displaying Christian love, and selfless service by visiting Marie in her home, and in the hospital, and praying with her through sickness and health. We are thankful for Pastor Crider and his loving congregation, and all of the excellent pastors and Christians doing God’s will and providing light, love, and saving souls. Marie’s beautiful spirit gained extended relatives and fellow Christians that love her in Baltimore, Tacoma Washington, and Jacksonville Florida. We are truly thankful for her existence.
