You're Not Alone

For well over 50 years, the March Family has deeply cared for the community in which we serve. As we all walk boldly into the 21st century, the support groups, bereavement care workshops, educational conferences, as well as our traditional annual Memorial Day services will help families in the greater Baltimore area come to terms with loss.

Many of these events have long been a tradition of service. Others are innovative responses to current social trends or a reflection of existing needs of families in the Baltimore area. One such event is the Family Conference for Homicide Survivors, held on September 11th of 2010. While this is a national day of mourning, for those lost in the events of 2001; for many families in the area the grief surrounding the violent death of a loved one is more recent.

The March Family is also the proud sponsor of Roberta’s House, a family grief support center on East North Avenue, which is the original site of the March Funeral Homes. Serving children and families of all ages, this center will conduct peer support groups for children and adults, educational workshops for churches and the community, in addition to providing a resource library. Reaching out to the community with our heartfelt support has always been very important to the March Family.
