Warren Thigpen

Warren Edward Thigen was born on January 26,1958 in Baltimore, Maryland the youngest of six children born to the late Willie James Thigen,Sr and Vera Thigen. After his attendance at Samuel Gompter Vocational High he joined the work force and became a contributing member of society. Warren was a natural handyman and enjoyed painting,home repair work, gardening/landscaping, you name it. He was a master of all trade.At time of his passing Warren served as Business Partner at EDCO Commerical Gas Service, Inc. with Steve Schatz. Steve Schatz. Steve always joked that he and Warren would together as business partner until they were 80 years old. He love story; Years and years after being introduced at the Federal Depot job site, and becoming friends and dating at the tender age of 17, Warren finally married the love of his life, Betty Doyle, on December 12, 2012. Warren was a caring,loving,and devoted husband and took pride in securing the happiness of his family. Warren was also, or maybe even better known as,Dick,.Dick loved his brothers and sisters,had a unique and special bond with countless nieces and nephews, enjoyed the company of his children,grandchildren,and son-law-,and certainly appreciated time well spent with friends. He was an endearing and adored family man and friend.Dick was the life of the party. When he got up to dance, everyone followed with happiness in their hearts and laughter on their lips. For these things,he will forever be remembered. Warren Dick Edward Thigpen was preceded in death by his parents, Willie James Thigpen, Sr. and Vera Thigpen; brother,Milton Thigen; three nephews, Darnell Boyd,Timothy Samuels,and Corey Artis
