Wade Thompson

“There's a storm out over the ocean, and it's moving this way but, my soul is anchored in Jesus.” On Friday, November 10, 2017, God Almighty, King of Kings and Lord of Lords called into his presence, and gave eternal peace and rest to MR. WADE THOMPSON, SR Wade was born on April 18, 1953, the seventh of eight siblings to the late Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Delphia Thompson, Wade was raised and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ, the son of the living God at an early age Friendship Baptist Church .is where he grew up attended. He was educated through the Dundalk, Maryland School System. Wade gave his heart to Jesus Christ and accepted Him as Lord and Savior. He was a good Christian man and he loved the Lord with all of his heart. He raised his children to love God and live for God. He always told them no matter what. “PUT GOD FIRST” He loved to sing the songs “There's a storm out over the ocean and I have decided to fellow JESUS, “And he always said, “I might not have the best voice, but God loves it and that's all that maters,” He was a member at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Havre De Grave, Maryland before becoming a Deacon at Friendship Baptist Church, in Dundalk, Maryland. For many years he served faithfully as unto the Lord. He had a good heart and would help anybody that needed help, if he could. He loved making his family and friends laugh He loved watching the G.E. Patterson Church broadcast and he loved cooking, especially for children, and he loved that little dog of his Buster. Throughout the years, Wade worked at General Motors, Al Pharma Pharmaceutical Company, and his final job at General Electric in Cecil County, Maryland. After he retired, he lovingly, and faithfully, dedicated his time taking care of his mother, whom he loved and cherished, until her death. Wade was preceded in death by his oldest sister, Omelia Thompson and his oldest daughter, Lisa Thompson. During his marriage he had three children. He leaves to cherish his memory and to celebrate his life: his children, Brianna Nicole Thompson and Wade Thompson Junior; stepdaughter, Angel Renee Carlton; four grandchildren, four brothers and two sisters, Bruce A. Thompson-Moore (Linda), Brenda J. Cheatham (Melvin, Sr.) Boyd Thompson Junior(Elaine), Jacqueline A. Scott (Walter), Gary Thompson (Angela), Rickey Thompson (Valerie); his good and friend, Deacon Robert (Bruce) Bryant; and a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
