Richard N. Garnett

Richard Nathaniel Garnett, Son of the late Clarence Garnett Sr and Gwendolyn Brown was born on November 11, 1965 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on October 5, 2015 after an untimely illness. Rick as he was affectionately called by family and friends received his education by the Baltimore City School system where he graduated from Northwestern High School and later attended BCCC where he earned his certificate in Abuse & Drug Addiction Counseling. Towson University College is where he earned his license to be a plumbing installer as well as Colorado Technical University where he was pursing his degree for Criminal Justice. Rick was a professional Plumber and DJ (in PA). Previously employed by Ellinghaus & R.E. Harrington Plumbing & Heating, & several Security Companies. Rick was the family go to guy whenever there was a plumbing issue he always helped out. However his greatest job was being a loving father to his children although he wasn't able to see them daily he always held them close to his heart and always managed to find a way to add his kids in every conversation. There was nothing that he wouldn't do for each and everyone of them they were his greatest achievements. Rick loved people and life. His greatest love of all was found in God as he was saved early in his adult life. His quote will always be "1 stay prayed up" we know he has found his way into the kingdom. Rick leaves to mourn his children: Richard Garnett Jr., Alex Garnett, Marcus Garnett, Tia Garnett, Diane Garnett, Grandson Malakai Gray, Sisters Linda Garnett-Lucas, Cheryl Keene, Brothers Clarence Garnett, Kenneth Garnett, Sister in laws Brenda Garnett, Hope Garnett, Nieces Shani Lucas, Deja Garnett, Tia L. Garnett, Nephews Kenyon Garnette, Antione Lucas, Kenneth K. Garnett, Cousin more like a lil-brother Wayne Davis Jr, Brother in law Herb Lucas, Step-father Morris Brown, Cousins Kim Welch, Zina Patel, David Green, Aunts Linda Green, Carolyn Welch- Lockwood, Uncle Ronnie Lockwood and a host of other family & friends. Rick was preceded in death by his Mother Gwendolyn, Father Clarence Sr, Sister Carla Garnett, and Grand Parents Van & Gloria Welch.
