Rhonda Harrison

Rhonda Harrison, affectionately known as "Ronnie," was born on June 9, 1958, to William Houston and Marilynn Houston. She was the third child of six siblings. Ronnie received her education from the Baltimore City Public School System, a 1976 graduate of Lake Clifton High School. After graduating high school, she attended Coppin University for one year, and later attended Baltimore City Community College where she became Certified Nursing Assistant. Ronnie spent her life as a dedicated Healthcare Worker for 40 years until her retirement, after which, she decided to become a fulltime grandmother. During the course of her time in high school, she met her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Jerome Harrison, known as "Romey." they began dating and were united in Holy Matrimony on February 4, 1978. they became "one' and their marriage lasted for 48 years until the day the Lord called her home. Later in life, Ronnie gave her life back to the Lord. In June 1998, she joined the fellowship of the Israel Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Walden Wilson, III. Ronnie led her family to join her at Israel and to be a part of the church's activities. She served on Israel's Culinary Ministry and Courtesy Guild, greeting the members on Sunday mornings as they entered for worship service. Ronnie gave her all to her husband, her children, grandchildren and family. She lived with fire in her eyes, and passion in her heart, which uplifted and sustained everyone around her. She had a strong and fighting spirit within her. Ronnie opened her doors to everyone who needed shelter. Ronnie earned a standing ovation! The name "Ronnie" speaks for itself. She lived on her own terms, with no explanations, no excuses, and did it beautifully, proud and brave. She was known for her honesty, generosity and compassion. Ronnie loved deeply and gave freely. On Monay, February 23, 2026, after experiencing illness, Rhonda Harrison transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life in God's heavenly kingdom. She was reunited with her son, Jerome Harrison, Jr., who preceded her in death. She was a true and good woman, and though her physical presence is no longer here with us, her love will continue to shine in those of us who knew her and were blessed by her. Ronnie leaves to cherish her beautiful memories: her devoted and loving husband of forty-eight years, Jerome Lee Harrison, Sr.; two loving daughters, Monique Talley and Daija Witherspoon; four grandchildren, Bryant Talley, Briana Talley, Bryson Talley and Osiris Baynes; one beloved brother, Willam Houston (Stacy); two sisters-in-law, Catherin Wake (Stanley) and Michelle Douglas; one brother-in-law, James Harrison; her godson Sevhn Patterson; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends
