Rawleak Rtee Pryor

Rawleak Rtee Pryor was born in Richmond, Virginia on February 11, 2001 and departed this life suddenly on August 15, 2018. Rawleak was preceded in death by his grandparents; Mr. Rudolph Young Jr., Ms. Lavinia Jennings, Mrs. Mary McCray and Mrs. Aretha Lewis. Rawleak previously attended Thomas Jefferson High School, but was looking forward to completing his senior year at Varina High School. Rawleak accepted Christ at an early age. If you had the privilege to know Rawleak, you couldn't help but to love him. He was a beam of light, breathe of fresh air, warm soul and had a contagious smile. He genuinely loved his family and it was obvious. He will always light up, smile and greet you with a hug or a handshake. He was tiny in stature, but his presence was impactful when he entered the room. Rawleak was affectionately known as Leak and Burger. Rawleak had a passion for listening to music, playing video games and as we all know playing basketball. He thought the #3 Jersey was created just for him. When he had a basketball in his possession, he thought he owned the court. He played the game with a passion, joy, purpose, vision and a mission to win. He played the game of life the same way. He was on a mission to succeed. He loved his job. It meant more to him than working a part-time job at McDonalds. It was the opportunity, gateway, push, drive and pathway to becoming the young man that he desired to be. Rawleak leaves to cherish his memories father, Mr. Rawland T. Pryor Jr.; mother, Ms. Fatima Jennings; godmother, Chaunie McCray; love as a mother, Tawuna Terry; ten siblings including three sisters, Rawlinda Pryor, Carleisha Greene, and R'Tia Pryor (devoted); seven brothers, Rawland Pryor III, Rawkea Pryor, Lavar Pryor, Rakeem Pryor, Rawquez Pryor, Aasim Goode and Ja'Vyon Pryor; four god-sisters, Quandajha Thompson, Breona Sattlewhite, Tiana Waters and Jamaica Mitchell; one uncle, Darryl Jennings; nine aunts, Wyteshia McCray (Bernard), Jaquette Nelson, Lashawn Kelson, Felicia Pryor-Brown (Andre), Karen Pryor, Jackie Pryor, Melinda Foy, Melissa Barlow and Stephanie Ivey; two nieces, La'Mya Pryor and Tae'miyah McLaurin; eight nephews, Davonta McLaurin, Khali Speights, Rawkea Pryor Jr., Ja'kea Pryor, Rawshaun Pryor, Lavar Pryor Jr., Amarji Burwell and Legend Jennings-Bey; grandparents, Mr. Rawland Pryor Sr. (Charlotte), Ms. Theresa Jennings (devoted), and Mrs. Eva Burton (Thomas); great- grandparents, Mr. Rudolph Sr. & Annie Young; host of great-uncles, aunts, cousins and friends ,devoted Michael Banks, Rahquan Pryor, Chirita Scott, Dante Brooks and Dayshawn Penn; supportive mentors, Julius Gaiters Jr., Dashawn Scott, Mr. Barnes, Ms. Young, Ms. Brooks and Mr. Jones.
