Odella Jeneen Robinson

ODELLA JENEEN ROBINSON was born on October 14, 1971, and peacefully entered eternal rest on August 6, 2025, after battling a chronic illness. She was the youngest of nine children born to the late Leroy H. Robinson Sr. and the late Odella Corrine Brown Robinson. Odella received her education in Baltimore City Public Schools and earned her GED. Odella worked at St. Vincent de Paul Head Start, serving in all of its branches. She had a deep passion for working with children, and they adored her in return. Her kind and caring spirit was evident to everyone she met. Odella leaves to mourn their loss and cherish her memory: four children, Tayvon, Maurice, Devonte and Derrell Robinson; grandkids, Darna, Tailee, Kahri, Torielle, Nylah, True (deceased), Jaccori and Timothy Robinson; sisters, Darzel, Tonya, Deborah, Juanita Robinson and Marlene Graham; brothers, Leroy Jr., Daryl, Kevin Robinson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Who would have thought that I would be laying you to rest, it should be the other way. I have so much more to say, words can’t describe how I feel. You were my best friend. It hurts so much to know I can’t see your face or hear your voice. You didn’t have a chance to meet your grandson. It may seem selfish, but I really wish you weren’t gone. I will see you and Grandma soon. Love, Derrell To my sweet precious baby. I miss you so much. My mom was big on family and provided the necessary things to keep her family going. If you know my mom, she wasn’t big on buying name brand clothes, but she made sure they were new and decent. She cooked with so much love that she not only made dinner for me but also welcomed my friends and treated them like family. When it was time for marketing next month, she would literally give away half the freezer to neighbors who needed it, or she would trash it before she filled the freezer back up and redo the same thing next month. My mother love babies. She spent most of her time watching and teaching kids. She was very patient with kids, and I think that came from her raising her boys alone and lord know she did her best. She was very strong and independent, and she kept things rolling my whole life. If you know my mother, she knows how to save money. She taught me how to be independent and fend for myself even though it was the hard way. She taught me how to be a man and have principles and morals and most important to be a protector and provider for my kids. I thank you for being my mom and loving me through everything as always and forever, I am going to miss you. I love you and I’ll see you soon one day. Your baby boy, Tayvon I thank God that I had such a wonderful mom. Mommy will forever be in my heart, and I appreciate my time with her. I promise to continue her memory by striving for excellence in her name. My mom wants me to succeed, and my goal is to do just that. I love you, Mom.
