Noreen Denise Jenkins

Sunrise: Noreen Denise Jenkins was born August 5, 1971 to the former Darlene lona Dodd and Norman W. Jenkins Sr. at St Joseph Hospital in Towson, Maryland. A Journey Through Life: As a young child, Noreen accepted Christ in her life at a very early age. She was baptized at Pleasant Hope Baptist Church by the late Rev Dr. Howard R. Queen. Renee, as she was affectionately known to family and friends, received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. As a laborer, she performed various jobs to make it day to day. Renee was a very affectionate person and made numerous friends and extended family. Although 33 years seems a small amount of time in one's life, Renee enjoyed her life. She lived every moment to the fullest. Of all of her pleasures, her joys were the smiles of her two daughters, DaJanae and Destiny. She mostly enjoyed spending time with friends and holidays with family. No matter what situation or obstacles came her way, Renee never complained even during her weakest moments. Sunset: The Lord saw fit to send Angels to take Renee home to be with those family members and friends that preceded her from this earthly life. On October 15, 2004, she slipped into eternal rest. Renee will be sorely missed by those whose lives she touched. Memories To Cherish: To cherish in the memories of a life gone too soon are: her parents, Darlene I. Johnson and Norman W. Jenkins Jr.; four nephews, DeAndre Harris, Ralph Todd III, Brandon Burks and DaQuan Jenkins; three aunts, Roberta Taylor, Linda (John) Haskins and Kimberleigh (Ralph) Kornegay; four uncles, John Taylor, Wallace Dodd (Almedia), Thomas Deans, Earl Jenkins (Saundra); six great aunts, Mable (Perry) Watson, Marjorie Lamb, Lillian Nyes, Blanch Brown, Elizabeth Wheeler and Evelyn Jones; one great-uncle, Charles Dodd; a host of cousins and great-cousins; two best friends, Wanda Foster and Karen Sassafras; a devoted friend, Sandy "June" Hinton; and other relatives and friends.
