Mary Elizabeth Richardson

God sent His Angels to gently carry MARY ELIZABETH RICHARDSON home, with His divine grace, his child was Delivered! MARY ELIZABETH RICHARDSON, the daughter of the late Jack carter and Elizabeth Bonner was born on November 29, 1935 in North Carolina. She departed this life on June 14, 2015 after a lengthy illness. She was educated in the public schools of North Carolina. In the 60’s , Mary was a military wife to the late Benjamin Richardson for over 30 years before he departed this life. Mary had three lovely girls, the late Mary Ann Evans, Janet Lee Smith and Wanda Evette Richardson. She was a beautiful, unselfish, proud lady. Appearance was everything to her. When she went out, she went all out. Time could not keep up with this youthful soul. She made friends wherever she went. Her hobbies was shopping, watching movies, playing cards, dancing, cooking and family time. Mary affectionately known as “MaMa” to many touched so many lives, she was a pioneer in her community, finding herself helping all that needed help. Strong willed, happy, outgoing, loving, caring and straight forward with her encouraging words of wisdom. She was known for wearing many hats. MaMa retired as a cook from Boys Home Society after many years of service. She was the matriarch of her family. An entrepreneur selling products of Mary Kay, Avon, Tracey Lynn Jewelry, Stanley Home Products along with many other side hustles; a landlord, daycare provider, candy lady, snowballs stand and occasionally she sold dinners. You name it, she did it. She leaves to cherish her memories: her oldest sister, Corene Mitchell; two daughters, Janet Lee Smith and Wanda Evette Richardson; six grandchildren, Tanya Moore, Dwayne Moore, James (Boobie) Smith, Danielle Smith, Quinanna Royster and Sade’ Royster; fifteen great grandchildren, LaTiya, Chasity, Lil Dwayne, Yasmine, Eli, Labria, Tyquan, Tijai, Brainna, Breasia, Andre, Lil Tony, Karter, Kydel and Damiya; one great, great granddaughter, Bailey Forte’; two Godchildren, Yoland and Channal. It would be amiss if we didn’t mention her extra special three kids she helped rise, Antwan, Shavira and Koran with a host of nieces and nephews. She will be truly missed by so many.
