Mary Lee Wilson

On the afternoon of April 11, 2002, the loving soul of Mary Lee Wilson was peacefully released and returned to her eternal home. Mary Lee was born on May 5, 1930, in Bucking ham, Virginia. She was the oldest daughter of the late James and Alma Banks. May lee attended elementary school in Chester Grove, Virginia and completed her education in numerous educational institutions in Baltimore, Maryland. She confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized at Cornerstone Baptist Church, where she served as a faithful member for many years. Always a dedicated servant, she later joined and worked in the congregations of Southern Baptist Church and St. Paul Baptist Church, until her failing health would not permit her to attend. Mary Lee was a dearly beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was united in holy matrimony to the late Mr. Emmitt Wilson. Out of this blessed union were born five daughters: Diane (deceased), Gloria, Venus, Joyce and Renee. At the untimely death of Diane, she lovingly completed the rearing of Diane’s only daughter, Lenora. Mary Lee was always a diligent, hard worker who could be depended on to get the job done correctly. She was employed for many years by the Greater Baltimore Medical Center as a nursing assistant. Always a friendly and loving person, Mary lee will be missed by her family and friends. She consistently kept in touch with her friends and family while giving any assistance that she could give. As goodness and mercy have followed her all the days of her life, she will dwell in the house of the Lord, forever.Surviving with loving memories are: four daughters, Gloria Bailey, Venus McKay, Joyce Wilson and Renee Worthan; three sons-in-law, Mr. Dallin Bailey Jr., Mr. Adrian C. McKay, and Mr. Joseph Worthan; one sister-in-law, Louise Randolph of Landham, Maryland; seven grandchildren, Lenora, Davia, Dallin, Adrian, Lawrence, Joseph and David; one grandson-in-law, William Diggs; two great grandchildren, William and Kelli; two nieces, Linda and Esther Perry; one nephew, Manley Perry Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
