Leslie Tyler

Leslie Tyler was born to the late Leslie and Myrtle Hall on July 13, 1952.He departed his life on November 23, 2017 at John Hopkins Hospital. He attended Baltimore City Public Schools. Leslie loved spending time outdoors with his friends and family at a young age. Leslie had a style and demeanor of his own. He somewhat a loner especially when it came down to eating. Leslie first job was at Biddle Street Baker. Leslie met his first love Deloris and together they had two lovely children, Leslie and Diane Tyler. He was a very proud father. Leslie was faithful to his family and friends. Two special people that meant a lot to Leslie were Ms. Betsie and Molly King. Leslie had a heart for the elderly and took care of these two ladies until they received their wings. He loved spending time with younger brother Tyrone. His sisters were always protected by them. His sister Butchie was his partner in crime aka his twin. Leslie always told his nieces he was sending them to Barbezon modeling school, and they believed him. Leslie's secret love was cookies and candy. He took pride working at the Rotunda as a janitor for past 15 yrs. They will miss him dearly. His mate for the past 14 yrs, Ms. Patricia Washington (Ann), they had a true friendship and romance of love, fun and laughter. He formed a bond with Ms. Ann children and they will miss him dearly. Leslie was baptized at First Apastolic Church under the leadership of Bishop Cornelius Showell. Leslie loved his children and lived life to the fullest. He was very proud to become a grandfather even though he called them his children also. Leslie will be missed by all who loved and knew him. His brother Tyrone Tyler, his sister Bertha Watkins and his great-granddaughter Kaleah Gaylord preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory: his son, Leslie Samuel Tyler Sr.; his daughter Diane Tyler; three sisters, Mary Brown, Catherine Moore and Doretha Henderson; two aunts, Jane and Willouby; five grandkids, Dominique Taylor, Leslie Samuel Tyler Jr., Tyler Prince, Skylar Tyler and Princeton Tyler; three great-grandkids, Tyleah, Micah and Mykel, one daughter-in-law ,Carldina Tyler; one grandson-in-law, Jeffrey Taylor; one soon to be son-in-law, Shawn Johnson; three nephews, five nieces; two special friends, Allen and Donald Johnson; and a host of cocusins, great-nieces and nephews and lots of friends. From Ann, No matter where you are, I will always love and miss you until I see you again.
