Frances Lee Gause

When you hearken to the voice of the Lord, Your God,all these blessings will come upon you and overwhelm you. — Deuteronomy 28: 2FRANCES LEE GAUSE was born on February 7, 1951 to Gracie Grate- Skinner and the late Pearly Gause Sr. She departed this life on March 30, 2007 to reign in Heaven after a lengthy illness.Frances was born in Loris, South Carolina and moved to Baltimore, Maryland in the late 1950’s. She was loved by all. Whenever she had a moment to talk about the Lord she would just break out in a worship. She made the word of God known. She praised God and didn’t care.Frances joined Patterson Asbury A.M.E. Zion Church, where she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. She joined the Courtesy Guild and Nurses’ Ministries. Frances was devoted to the Snack and Rap Outreach and Sick/Shut-in Ministries. She worked diligently on the Women of Wisdom Ministry.She worked at Maryland Specialty Wire for more than fifteen years, and she also worked at NCIA helping developmentally disabled people.Frances devoted her time to everyone she could; but she especially devoted her time as a daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She lived her life as an outgoing person. She always persevered. Fran or Nett, as she was called by some, was always the person to keep everyone together, and she loved to cook.In heaven she joins her father Pearly Gause Sr., one brother John Gause and one sister Cheryl Gause on their journey with the Lord.She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Gracie Skinner; two sons, Tarvis Briscoe and Jerome Smith; two daughters, Cassandra and Tonia Thurman; two extended sons, Maurice and Marcellus Kendall Jr.; seven grandchildren, Tiesha, Tiara, Nikalette and Tarvis Jr. Briscoe, Shabré Blake, Jamal and Monté Scott; one great-granddaughter, Rihanna Griffin; one brother, Pearly Jr.; four sisters, Phyllis, Mable, Eloise and Deborah Gause; a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She also leaves: three devoted friends of many years, Phyllis Fletcher, Leray Veney and Marcellus Kendall Sr.; her godmother, Constance Montgomery; and her goddaughter, Sharah E. Moore.
