Destiny D. Moss

Destiny Denise Moss was born on July 10,1991 to Veronica Lee Wheeler and Tyrone Moss Jr. at University Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Destiny was called to Glory to meet with her Savior on July 7, 2013. Destiny, Known as “Des” to many and affectionately known as “ Diddy” to her mom, Veronica gave her life to Christ in 2003 and was baptized by the late Bishop Calvin E. Monroe of Freedom Baptist Church Missionary. Unsurprisingly, Destiny knew that God had done in her life and the trials she overcame with the help of having Him in her life. In 2008, Destiny joined the “sister Helping Sister program, as if school wasn't enough stress, but she knew she could do more. She brought joy to all her peers. Destiny attended her prom on May 13, 2009 and it was that night at prom that she showed her peers how to have fun and enjoy themselves. She “two-stepped” and danced the entire night. On June 6, 2009 Destiny graduated from Patterson Senior High School. Not only was graduating exciting to her and her family but most importantly, it was a major accomplishment for her as well. With that accomplishment, Destiny yearned for more out of life. She joined the Humanim Programs from 2009- 2010, where she learned skills that would equip her for her desired future employment. Destiny knew this was the right path for her and was already a step ahead of all her peers. She had a vast knowledge of technology. Destiny was a “PRO” at computers and a telephone tech. Those skills helped her in tasks at the Humanim Program. In March 2013, Destiny joined the League for the Handicap, where she gave her time and dedication. She was always on time and was loved by everyone at the League. Destiny was always known for her elegant smile. She believed that life was made to enjoy and showed it at all times through her love for her family, friends and pets. Destiny wasn't an ordinary individual but instead she stood for what she believed and wasn't shy in letting everyone know what was on her mind; even if it meant telling the truth and hurting some feelings without that being her intent. The love for her family was unconditional and in knowing that, everyone had to be around Destiny. Destiny leaves to cherish her lifelong memories to her devoted mother, Veronica Lee Wheeler and father Tyrone Moss Jr.; grandparents, William Sullivan, Sr. and Doris Lee Sullivan, Tyrone Moss, Sr. and Gwendolyn Moss; Great grandmother, Constance Hogans; five brothers, Dontray Cornish, Tyrone V. Moss, Anthony Rucker, Tyquan Moss and Devin Moss; two sister, Peyton Davis and Dejah Moss; stepfather, Franklin Parker; two aunts, Trina Wheeler and DeShawn Moss; one aunt preceded her death, Constance Wheeler; three uncles, Bennie Lee Wheeler, David Lee Wheeler and William Sullivan, Jr.; three best friends, Victoria Thompson, LaTonya Wright and Brittany McNeil; a pet cat, “Eggnog” and a host of devoted relatives and friends.
