Destinee Alicia Parker

Destinee Alicia Parker was born on September 16, 1995 to James Parker Jr. and Kim Tate of Baltimore, Maryland. She lived a calm and simple life, blessing those who she regularly encountered. As the Lord was in need of an additional angel. He took Destinee home on September 29, 2009 after a battle with pneumonia and a virus that aggressively attacked her immune system.Destinee began her educational tenure at Eutaw Marsh burn Elementary School and then continued at Furman L. Templeton. At age 11, she moved with her father and step mom, Deirdre Parker, and younger sisters. She then attended Montebello Elementary/Junior Academy where she was given the opportunity to blossom. She was an avid artist and enjoyed expressing herself through her artwork. Destinee loved to listen to her Walkman and was frequently listening to her favorite rapper, Little Wayne. She especially enjoyed the company of her family and their pets. Des, as she was known to many was outgoing and fun loving. Her personality brightened up the home and the hallways at school. Whenever you saw her she was wither running, laughing or cracking jokes. She worked hard on whatever she did. Her personality filled our lives and her memory will fill our hearts forever.To her friends, she was a blessing and a better friend than they could ever imagine. She never put her own needs first because she always wanted to be there for others. She was never in trouble at school and was best known for being a lovable, caring person with an infections smile. She joked and laughed and made everyone around her happy. She loved being active in school clubs and was the happiest when she was involved in the Girl Scouts and represented them as their leader. She was very fond of her teachers especially Ms. Davis & Ms. Green and the entire Montebello family will truly miss her.Destinee is survived by; her father, James Parker, Jr.; her mother Kim Tate, her step mom, Deirdre Parker; one brother, Antonio; seven sisters, Nikia, Alecia, Jatia, Michael, Bianca, Kayla and Chenell; one nephew, Keyron; two nieces, Kiara and Taylor; her grandfather, James “Buth” Parker and Willie “Pop Pop” Darden; her grandmother, Bonnie “Sissy” Ferrell, late Loretta Scott, great grandmother, Esther Montgomery, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, family and friends.
