Denise Renee Fair

Hello to my family and friends, I’m going to share a little of my life’s journey. Denise Renee Fair is the name that was given to me by my parents, Leon McQuarters Fair of Omaha, Nebraska and the late Peggy Ann Reason-Fair, on July 2, 1962, in Escambia County. Florida. Three in half years later I was blessed with my little sister, Vicki Michelle Fair-Collins (Preston). Vicki and I had the strangest relationship, we were always at odds. One thing for sure we had an unconditional love that no one could understand. About thirteen years later I was welcoming another little sister, Sarah Fair of Omaha, Nebraska, but now residing in Espoo, Finland, who I love so dearly. We had so much in common. June of 1980 was one of the best days of my life, I graduated from Western High School with honors. As time went on in 1990, I received my Bachelor’s Degree from University of Maryland, Baltimore City. Oh, but it did not stop there in 1991, I received a full scholarship to University of Pittsburgh where I received my Master’s Degree as a Creative Writing English Major. During my time in Pittsburgh, I met and fell in love with my first feline friend, Rueben-Sandwich Fair. In 1994 I moved back to Baltimore at which time I became employed at The Community College of Baltimore County as an English Professor. AS time went by, I became ill and unable to work, so in 2008 I threw in my hat and retired. I never had biological children, I was fortunate to Raise two More-feline friends, Crackers & Pickles Fair. Now, remember I said, I never had children, but my sister Vicki blessed me with three nieces. To Kendra Tyrece remember the weekends we spent together, along with the wrestling matches we attended. Chanel Brittney you followed my footsteps by becoming a teacher, BE safe living in New York. My twin, La’Shon Sidney Andrea, who looks and acts like me always be yourself and make sure you take care of my Feline great-niece Daphne. As a child I enjoyed Aunt Dot’s birthday parties that she would give cousin Yvette. My Aunt Shirley would try to make sure I had the things I needed. I could count on Uncle Bill to do my taxes. Cousin Phillip (Bruce) he made sure I made it to my doctor’s appointments and assisted me with my business. We had a lot of good times and laughter. Cousins Desi, Tank, Kelly, Anita, Nicole, and Isaac, let us remember the good times we had, like the time Kelly was telling Tank, man stop breathing on the car window you are fogging it up, Tank responded I am going to die if I stop breathing, Kelly said OK! I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7). Our Lord Jesus Christ and My Redeemers who I accepted as My Lord and Savior at the age of thirteen, while attending Waters AME Church. He heard my cries and on August 15, 2020, He saw me struggling. He called my name and welcomed me into His heavenly home. Do not worry about my mommy, Uncle Sonny, Uncle Bobby, and Aunt Kathy they are here with me. Now for the rest of my family and friends, be blessed and to all cherish my memories, until we meet again.
