Charles S. Sinkler

Deacon Charles Sharod Sinkler, a native of Baltimore, Maryland was born July 8, 1998 at John Hopkins Hospital, the seventh son of the late Mr. William Sinkler and the late Ms. Charlethia Dixon. He was reared in a home full of love and laughter with his 6 big brothers and one adorable sister. He departed this earthy life on Monday, October 17, 2016, peacefully at home. Charles attended Baltimore City Schools and graduated in June, 2016 from the National Academy Foundation High School. While in school he loved all aspects of the athletic department. Most especially the sport of ''Football'', which he enjoyed playing immensely. He played for the Hamilton Tigers of Baltimore. When his health prevented him from continuing to play his favorite sport, his coaches encouraged him to help manage the teams, by working with the teams, Charles found his greatest passion, his gift as a positive role model, motivational speaker and mentor. He was well loved by his teachers, coaches and peers, after graduation, he continued his education at CCB/Community College of Baltimore in the Life Skills Program. Charles accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at an early age. He was baptized at Blessed Baptist Church of God under Pastor James Garrett. He loved working in the church and was always willing to participate and help in any way possible. He served faithfully as an Usher and member of the ministry. Helping others was his joy and ministry . His ministry and mission was always encouraging young people to come to church and learn about God and wasn't shy about asking parents to bring their children or grandchildren to God's house He was a great advocate and prayer warrior for family, and loved his Pastor and church family. Because of his faithfulness and dedication to serving God and the church, he was ordained as a Deacon on Sunday, June 29, 2014. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his loving grandmother of the home, whom he adored and cherished, Mrs. Helen Sinkler: six brothers; William, Jr. Timothy , Davon, Daron, Daron, Ronald and Ronnie; one sister, Sadie; three very special cousins, who were just like brothers Tyrell of the home, Stanley and Ryan; a very special Aunt and second mother, Ann; one sister-in-law, Nakia; two special nieces, Da'yonna and I'onna; a very special family friend, game buddy and mentor, Mr. Ronnie Williams; all of Baltimore, MD; and a host of uncles,aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
