Carolyn Elizabeth Lundy

Carolyn E. Lundy, the daughter of the late Lad and Marie Geter, was born December 7, 1956 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed life on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, Carolyn received her formal education from the Baltimore City Public School System. . She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Coppin State University. She later received her Master's Degree from Goucher College. Carolyn was a dedicated educator in the Baltimore City School System where she taught 30- plus years at Westside Elementary School #24. After retiring in 2013 she became a substitute teacher at Edmondson Heights Elementary School in Baltimore County. Carolyn was one of the first members of The Restoration Temple Apostolic Center formerly known as River of Life Christian Center. Here she met and married the love of her life for over 35 years, Eric Lundy. Out of this union came two beautiful children,Aaron and Erica. Under the leadership of Apostles Bennett and Jean Donnell, she was licensed and ordained as a Reverend. She was a faithful member of the Helps Ministry, where she served in the following areas: The Children and Youth Ministry, Married Couples Ministry, The Women's Institute, and The Healing Team. Affectionately know as Auntie, Carolyn was a family-oriented person that was known for hosting family holiday dinners, the most epic Easter egg hunts, and planning family vacations. She enjoyed spending Sunday afternoon cheering on the Baltimore Ravens. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents Lad and Marie, her brothers, Tyrone and Ken, her sister Deborah, her brother in law Herbie and her niece Latrell. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Pastor Eric Lundy; son Aaron (Erinn); daughter Erica; two step daughters, Shawna and Rhonda; Step son Eric Jr., granddaughters;Edyn, Zora, Kayla and Jenascia; grandsons Marcus, DJ, Jaquae and Marcel; mother- in -law Mary, father- in - law, John Eddie; sister Calantha (Penny) ; Aunt Florence; 5 nieces, Wendy, Kelly, Mikel, Tyneisha (Marlon) and Brittany; four nephews; Brian, Keenen, Ken,Jr., and Kilil; seven great nieces, four great nephews; dedicated friends Cadance and Natasha; and a host of cousins, other relatives, church family and friends. We can't forget her loving grand-dog Jaxx.
