Brenda J. Bridget

BRENDA JOYCE BRIDGET,born May 23,1941,daughter of the late Earl Adams and Catherine Janatha Kertley,departed this life on May 23,2018 at the age 77 from brief illness, in the comfort of her home surrounded by family as she wished. Brenda was born and raised in Baltimore,Maryland and received her education in the Baltimore City School System.Brenda loved cooking,so to no surprise she was employed as a cafeteria cook for 30+years with BCPSS. Upon retiring from the school system,she worked in the dietary department at a few local hospitals. In 198 Brenda received the Holy Ghost at First Apostolic Church revival under the late Bishop Showell. She had also been a member of St.Johns Christian Community Church under the late Tommy L.Jenkins,as well as Pentecostal Church of Delivance under Dr.Marie E.Brice.She found her final church home at Gods Unlimited International Ministry under her sister Prophetess Sharon E. Allen. Brenda loved cooking,baking,puzzles and music.She never missed an opportunity to shop,she enjoyed playing her lucky lottery numbers,bingo occasionally and a few good hours in the Casino when the mood was right!She was woman of much wisdom. It should be assumed that Brenda loved kids because during her summer break from the school you could always count on a house full of grandkids runnning around, Brenda was sweet but stern, a specific look could tell you what to do, no words necesssary. In her early years, Brenda met and married Arthur Bridget Jr.who preceded her in death. Of their union resulted 6 wonderful children,3 which precede her in death Lavonne Bridget,Terrence Bridget Sr. and Ronda Bridget.She leave behind to cherish her memory; her daughter, Janatha Bridget; two sons, Courtney Bridget Sr(Kijana Bridget) and Dana Bridget Sr;11 precious grandchildren,Reginald Carroll,Donald White Sr, Ronnetta Campbell,Rona Spence,Tyrone Lawrence,Brittany Lawrence,Terrance Bridget Jr,Terrell Bridget Sr,Courtney Bridget jr,Cournai Bridget,and Dana Bridget jr;19 great-grandchildren,5 sisters,Jacquelyn Wallace,Kathleen Lucas,Cynthia Robinson,Sharon Allen, and Mable Collins;2 brothers,James Smith and Thomas Smith;as well as a host of family and friends.Brenda was Granny to so many others,a biological relationship didn't stop her from owning that material role.
