Angela Brandon

Angela Mary Brandon passed away peacefully on December 2, 2017 at the age of 59. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Sylvia M. Stewart, the late Aaron Pittman (Sardine), & was raised by the late John H. Stewart Sr. (Jonnie). She graduated from Mergenthaler High School. Angela aspired to be a sign language interpreter, she taught hrself using books & the internet, but she never used her talents for employment because it was mainly a hobby. Angela married the late Charles Anthony Brandon Sr. in 1978. That marriage lasted 24 years. Out of that union they raised four children: Andre, Carletta, Vanessa, & Charles Jr. Angela was a housewife until her children became school age. She was employed by Johns Hopkins Hospital as an Environmental Care Technician, Baltimore City School system as a Custodian, Noxell, Incorporated, subsidiary of Proctor & Gamble Company, Hospitality field work, & restaurant server for Heaven's Gate Eatery. Angela lost her boyfriend the late Andre Rollins. They were together for 5 ears. When she lost the ones she loved she pushed through by keeping busy. She made bracelets, earrings, crochet blankets, hats, scarfs, purses & skirts. At first it was a hobby but it became a business where she made side money She was a artist at heart, painting, drawing & always signing her name on her work. Aside from enjoying company from family & friends, she loved cross-word puzzles, paying cards (spades), most important, listening to music & watching movies. She did not have a church home but she did believe in God. She did attend church, when her health permitted her. She loved babies so she enjoyed being around her great grandchildren. She was thrilled to know that she was going to have another baby around. Our newest edition of the family will be due to come in April. Angela is now home with her little brother John Stewart Jr. (John John). Angela leave to cherish her memories: two sisters, Adrienne Carletta Bailey & Ulanda Stewart; four Children, Andre Pittman, Carletta Mary Pittman, Vanessa Denise Brandon & Charles Anthony Brandon Jr. one niece, Monique Jones; four brothers in law, David Hills, James Brandon Jr., Carlos Jones & Christopher Bailey; five grandchildren, Alexus Pittman, Alieha Brandon, Larry Pittman, Chauntel Brandon, Andre Pittman Jr; two great nieces Harmony Nelson & Marih Nelson; Three Great Grandchildren Kamaiya Wilds, Kamora Wilds & Semaj Wright; and a host of cousins, other relatives & friends.
