William Ellsworth Washington

WILLIAM E. WASHINGTON II (Billy), beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend, suddenly departed this life at age thirty-two in the early morning of Sunday, May 28, 2006. Billy was born at Greater Baltimore Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland on January 31, 1974 to Rita and William Washington Sr. (Rita, his mother preceded him in death, April 2006.) Billy was baptized in his adolescent years at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Billy received his primary education at the Sacred Heart Catholic School and furthered his education in Baltimore County Public Schools receiving his high school diploma. His career path began by learning to customize cars at Mandel's Car Customizing Company. Shortly after, he worked several years at BWI Airport. He spent his later years as a licensed forklift operator for Hart Industries just a few blocks from home in Reisterstown, Md. His most joyous moment was the birth of his son Naquawn E. Washington (Little Bill) born July 22, 1997. He was a devoted father, always speaking of his son and loved him dearly. He played a major roll in Joshua's, his youngest brother, life. His family meant the world to him, as he would spend his weekends taking Naquawn and Josh to the movies, parks, or just out throwing a ball. You would often find him sitting at home on Sundays with his Mom, Dad, Naquawn and Josh. Those fortunate enough to know Billy knew how much he loved a good conversation and tasty food. During football season, his pastime would be rooting for his favorite team, the New England Patriots. Pool was his greatest hobby as he purchased Naquawn his first pool stick at the age of five. Always having time to listen to others, he often offered his help in whatever way he could. He prided himself on mentoring young boys to complete their education and to follow the right path. Making numerous friends wherever he went, he will sincerely be missed by everyone who knew him. Billy leaves to cherish his memory: his beloved son, Naquawn; father, William Washington Sr.; two brothers, Joshua and Frank; two sisters, Lynn and Wanda; his dear friends, Tony, Que, Damon and Therron; his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
