William (Billy) M. Boles Jr.
April 13, 1942 - November 3, 2021
On November 3, 2021 our Lord called our beloved William McDonald Boles Jr. home. “Billy”, as he was affectionately called by his friends and co-workers, was born on April 13, 1942 in Baltimore Maryland to the late William McDonald Boles Sr. and Inez Katherine Boles. Billy received his education in Baltimore Maryland and upon graduating felt compelled to serve our nation in the United States Marine Corp where he bravely fought in the Vietnam War. During his time in the military, he married Rosa Lee Boles who preceded him in death and from that union had a son; William Kevin Boles. After being honorably discharged, he put his military training to use as a Corrections Officer for both Baltimore City and the State of Maryland. Years later after his marriage to Rosa Lee, Billy met Sylvia Diane Thomas and had another son; William Bryan Boles. After his retirement from the City and the State he felt compelled to continue to use his skills as a Security Specialist for the Marriot Hotel and the Walters Art Gallery Museum. He made friends wherever he went. If you were having a bad day, he could cheer you up. He was a great father, a true friend and will be missed by everyone who knew him. He leaves to mourn: two children; William Kevin and William Bryan; one daughter in-law, Mary; three grandchildren, Kevin Gianni, Erica, and Malik; one sister, Emogene; three brothers, Lamont, Andre, and James; many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
