KENNETH, as he was affectionately known, as born on Person County, North Carolina in the Olive Hill Township to Wiley and Beatrice Bumpass Carver on September 4, 1937. When his parents decided to give up the farm life and move North, Kenneth remained in North Carolina with his great-grandparents James Wesley and Mary Ella Smith. He grew up in this home his sister Shirley Smith Elliott and Cousin Leonard (Linnon) Carver. Kenneth professed Christ and was baptized at Mill Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Roxboro, N.C. He attended Faith Baptist Church upon moving to Baltimore, MD and later in life joined Galilee Missionary Baptist Church Baptist Church, where she served on the Male Chorus. Kenneth received his early education at Olive Hill School. After moving to Baltimore, Maryland in 1952 he attended Paul Laurence Dunbar High Kenneth lived with two aunts, one uncle, one cousin, cousin’s family and great-grandmother. After High School Kenneth spent at least one tour in the United States Army, married/divorced from Betty Moseley; met Virginia West; started his home improvement business; in 1997 married Mary. Kenneth had gifted hands! “The problem Solver” could fix just about any household issue that may arise. He loved to help others and did soup to his last day. He was a humble man and offered his services free or way below others prices, He was faithful, caring and loving to his friends and family. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary; children, Felicia King, Kenneth Carver Jr., and Darlene Carver; his parents, Wiley and Beatrice Carver; his friend, Artines Virginia West; and eight siblings. Kenneth leaves to mourn his passing four daughters, Kimberly Ann West, Mona West, Angela West, Liza West, grandchildren, Kenneth III, Kenard, Kieria, Travis, Erica, Joseph, Gabriel, Amaya, Velvez, Anson, Anthony, Raynard, Yasmine, BerasiaBrian, Shawn, Carols, Senchua, Imir and a host of others; two brothers, Lawrence Carver of Baltimore, MD, Thaddeus Carver of Camden, NJ; one uncle , John Bumpass of Roxboro, NC; and host of other relatives.
