Wilette Sharlene Davis, daughter of the late Deacon Wilbur and Elder Minnie Lee Davis was born on November 15, 1965 in Baltimore, Maryland. After a brief illness, she transitioned from Earth to Heaven on Friday, March 26, 2021. Wilette received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System and went on to graduate from Mervo Vocational High School as a licensed cosmetologist. In the early 1980's, she met Darren Morris, life long companion and father of her only child Shaquanda Larese Davis. During the early part of Wilette's career, she worked in the food service industry and worked her way up to management positions. She truly was a hard worker. In the later part of her career, Wilette obtained a permanent position with Amazon. Wilette gave her life to Christ at The House of God, and received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, at the tender age of 13, during an awesome revival led by Bishop Rebecca Fletcher. Wilette was very family oriented and loved to have family functions with kids, siblings, nieces, nephews and other close friends and family. Wilette was known for her infamous seafood salad. She was known to bring laughter, excitement, and joy to any function. She was a very outspoken person. You never had to second guess her, if she had a problem with you, you would know it. She enjoyed caring for and spending quality time with her grandkids, the love of her life. She also enjoyed going to the casino, shopping and eating out with a few young ladies; they were known as "The Golden Girls." As a young girl she enjoyed going to New Jersey and spending time with three of her favorite cousins Gwennie, Tammy and Tweet. Wilette was preceded in death by two sisters; Chryl Hicks and Lillian Dennis. She leaves to cherish her memory; One daughter Shaquanda Larese Davis; her life long companion, Darren Morris; three grandchildren, Tyjai Archer, Mark an Markell Watford; one brother, William Hicks; one sister, Irene Joyner (Anthony); her stepmother, Retha Davis; one stepbrother, James Jackson; brother-in-law, Howard Dennis; sister-in-law, Charlotte Simms and a host of nieces and nephews, aunts, uncle, and cousins whom she loved all dearly; a childhood and life long best-friend, Valerie Gray (Bunny) and The Golden Girls.
