WENDY W. JONES was born September 1, 1952, in Baltimore, Maryland. Wendy was educated by the Baltimore City Public School System. Pursuing her love for traveling, Wendy enlisted in the Army, rising to the rank of Sergeant. During her service, Wendy was stationed In Oklahoma, Germany and California where she gave birth to her only son, Michael, whom she loved very dearly. Wendy then returned to her hometown of Baltimore, where she met and married her husband Levin, who she has been with over 25 years. Wendy spent the rest of her days living her life, spending time with friends and family whenever she had time, until the day she departed this life due to a health complication on February 26, 2022. Preceding Wendy in death are her parents William and Marion Washington; brothers Van, Cliff, Stanley and Billy Washington; and sisters Margo and Michelle Washington and Mona Throckmorton. Wendy is survived by: her husband, Levin O. Wainwright; son, Michael T. Jones; brothers, Von, Tony Alan and William Washington; sister-in-law, Sharon Washington; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
