    September 9, 1958 - April 12, 2021

    Retired Sergeant Fist Class Tyrone Green, died on April 12, 2021 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his wife, children, and immediate family. TYRONE ANTONIO GREEN (TONY) was born September 9, 1958 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Ellaree and Jesse Green Sr. He attended Baltimore City Public Schools until he joined the United States Army on June 29, 1978. While serving in the Army Tyrone earned the following Medals, Ribbons and Badges; Southwest Asia Medal, two Bronze Stars, Army Service Ribbon, Army Good Conduct Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Kuwait Liberation Medal, Marksman Badge Rifle, and M-16 Senior Aircraft Badge. Due to Tyrone's good service and conduct the Army allowed him to retire 18 months early on August 31, 1994 at the rank of Sergeant First Class. After retiring from the Army Tyrone met longtime family friend Wanda whom he went on to marry on August 25, 2001. If you knew Tyrone He loved dancing and his music, particularly Al Green and James Brown. He also loved cooking on the grill. Tyrone also enjoyed road trips, being a good husband, father and "POP POP" to his grandchildren. He will be missed by all whose lives he was able to be a part of. Preceding Tyrone in death are his mother, Ellaree Fowlkes; father, Jesse Green Sr.; stepfather, Henderson Fowlkes; sisters, Donna Baskins and Ellaree Jett; and brother, Jesse Green, Jr. He leaves behind to cherish his memories: wife, Wanda; three children, Arie, Charise and Devin; grandchildren, Nicholas, Zoriah, Aidyn, Madisyn, Driss, Darien, Aria and Landon; great-grand, Kailani; sisters, Catherine Bass, Brenda Derbigny (Lucien); brothers, Jason and Rob Green (Barbara); mother-in-law, Pearl Whiting; brothers-in-law, Dwayne and Donny Leonard; one sister-in-law, Wilsonia Green; three aunts, Saundra, Hilda and Doris; one uncle, Edwin (Odessa); two very close friends, Rodney Smith, Joan Opie; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
