Toney Anthony Shelton was born on July 27, 1955 in Baltimore, Maryland to Toney and Sarah Shelton. He was one of six children. Anthony departed this life on August 21, 2021 at his home. Anthony attended Baltimore County Public Schools in Dundalk, Maryland. He was employed with Bethlehem Steel in Sparrows Point, Marylland in later years, he worked at the United States Coast Guard until he retired in 2019. He loved his family and his favorite pastimes were gifting photo framing to family members. He enjoyed taking the grandkids for rides, watching the Ravens football games and basketball games on television, weekend outing to Washington, D.C. or going to the Flee Market. Anthony was raised in Turner Station, Maryland where he attended and was baptized at an early age at The Greater Saint John Baptist Church. He loved sports and was a member of Dundalk High Basketball team. As a young man, Anthony was nicked named "Smokey" because of his Smokey Robinson Style of singing. He was devoted to caring for his mom and dad and will be greatly missed by them. Anthony is preceded in death by his brothers Gregory Shelton and Charles Shelton. He leaves to cherish his wife, Yolanda Williams; his father, Toney Shelton; his mother, Sarah Shelton; three sisters, Barbara White (Sidney), Vanessa Harvell (George), and Angela Tina Smith (Harry); son, Anthony Shelton Jr. (Katherine); daughter, Alexis Fleming (Hunter); two stepsons, James Berry, Michael Williams; two stepdaughters, Tanganyika Berry, Sybrianna Williams; grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends
