    Theodora R. Morris

    May 11, 1950 - January 19, 2022

    Theodora Rene' Morris was born in Baltimore, MD on May 11th, 1950. Her restful sleep began on January 19th, 2022, in Baltimore, MD. Rene', whom everyone called her, worked as a waitress when she met the love of her life, Eugene Morris St. and they married on June 22nd, 1968. Throughout her life Rene' worked as a daycare provider because she loved spoiling everyone's children and sending them back home. She was a devoted Jehovah's Witness for over 40 years. She was well known, adored and loved by the friends. Rene' loved to go to the thrift store and shop for hours. She loved to cook and would cook for all her family and friends. Every event that took place, it was always at Gene and Rene's house. There were several people that "Rene' had very close relationships with. Her cousin Marvin Nance, Raymond McFadden, Larry Cousar, her spiritual sisters, Joan Hines & her Cousin Christopher King who proceeded her in death. She also held a special place in her heart for Helena Downs and Paul Thompson. Rene' was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene A. Morris Sr.; son, Baby Morris; and her brother, Kenneth Evans. She is survived by: her four children and their spouses, Eugene A. Morris Jr. "Spoon", Lisa R.M. Harvey "Rock" (Willie Lee Harvey), Myron S. Morris Sr. (Tamara Morris) and Kenra Morris-Bryant "Funk" (Corey Bryant who spoiled her rotten and took her to all her favorite stores); her six grandchildren whom she just absolutely loved, Jamie, William, LisaKenee, Dezmond, Myron Morris Jr. and Rene's baby Tamyra Rene' Morris. She acts just like her grandmother. Rene' is also survived by: her sister, Evelyn P. Downs and her brother-in-law, George Downs; her brother-in-law, Robert Brockman. sisters-in-law, Lorine Morris, Sarah Salter, Grace Reid and her partner James Morton, and Dorothy Haywood. She is also survived and loved by her many nieces and nephews, family and friends, her New York Family, along with the many neighbors that LOVED her on Walbrook Avenue. Besides the love of Rene's life Gene, she LOVED, CHERISHED AND ADORED her Children, and Grandchildren, who will FOREVER MISS HER.
