Teresa M. Carroll Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Teresa Michelle Carroll, beloved daughter of Linda Hughes and Nelson Hall, Sr., was born on January 18th, 1974 in Manhattan, NY. She departed this life on January 13th, 2022. Teresa received her education from Baltimore City Public School System and obtained her GED in 1992 from The Learning Bank. Due to her skills and passion for hair, she chose to further her education and went on to receive a certification in Cosmetology. Teresa was a jack-of-all-trades; acquiring jobs in a variety of fields. She even completed a Social Work internship with The Department of Social Services. Upon completion, Teresa found employment at the University of Maryland Medical Center as both a Housekeeper and a Chef for two years. She was most recently employed as a Deli Manager at Stop Shop N Save. She remained in that capacity until she took a leave of absence due to developing health issues. She was a dedicated woman and that dedication spilled over into her home life. Teresa was an exceptional cook, no matter what she prepared. The love she put into her food deemed her to be one of the best cooks in the family. She was also the best hairstylist in the family and everyone trusted her to style their hair. You may not always get what you asked for but she would always have you looking right. Teresa loved attending gatherings with her family and friends because she loved to have a good time! She was known for cracking jokes, pulling pranks and even wrestling with her loved ones. Teresa had a vibrant personality and a big heart. If you ever needed someone to talk to, she was always there to turn your tears into laughter. She believed in living and enjoying life to the fullest and maximizing every moment to make for lasting memories. Teresa gave of herself without measure, a trait that spoke to the kind of person she was. Her zeal for life will be remembered by all who loved her for years to come. She leaves to cherish her memories her four sons, Thomas III, Colin, Nolan, and Christian; her two daughters, Aureya and Daijia; parents Linda (Cedric) and Nelson Sr., three brothers, Greer (Tamia), Anthony and Nelson Jr.; her two sisters, Nitra and Myreiah; godbrothers, Elijah, Jr. and Herman, Jr.; godsister, Helena and Crystal; three best friends, Carolyn, Lena and Danielle and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her best friend, Annie.
