II Timothy 4: 7-8 (KJV) Robert Todd Cooper, Jr., age 72, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 19, 2021. Robert, “aka” Robbie was born on February 6, 1949 in Flint, Michigan to Robert Todd and Martha Cooper. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Todd Cooper, Sr., and Martha Cooper; sister Jeanie Jackson; brother Lamont Cooper and his son Robert Todd Cooper III. The eldest of four children graduated from Flint Northwestern High School. Shortly afterwards, he married his high school sweetheart Cynthia Simmons. Robbie worked with General Motors and later spent years in the transportation industry as a truck driver. Robbie and Cynthia shared three children Karmela (Karm), Latrice, and Robert (Chubbs). Robbie and Cynthia shared a lifetime of memories until his death on July 19, 2021. Robbie was known for his lovable, fun spirited, warm hearted personality. He loved to travel and explore new places. He had a passion for sports cars, photography, and fishing. Robbie’s favorite saying was “Every day is a holiday”. Robbie was a dear friend to many and he will be greatly missed for his kindness, words of wisdom and helping those in need. Robbie is survived by his wife, Cynthia Cooper; daughters Karmela Cooper, Latrice Williams and Robin Moton-Raheeq; brother, Rodney Cooper (Tomeka); grandchildren, Kennedy Raheeq and Sahnia Raheeq; niece and nephew, Laelonni Jackson and Teril Cooper (Tasha); brothers-in-law, Ray Simmons (Mary), Bryan Psalms and Kenneth Psalms (Daytrella); aunts and uncle, Pauline Brown, Dorothy Dover, Edna Robinson and Elton Denson; cousins, a host of other relatives and friends including his long time best friend, Freddie Hutson (Flint, MI).
