Robert Julius Beyke

Our beloved Robert Julius Beyke was born February 1, 1928, to the late Augustine and Margaret Beyke. He departed on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Beyke and his brother Gus Beyke. He is survived by his children, Butch Beyke, Rena Beyke, Ron Beyke, 6 grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren, 6 great great great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends At age 17, he joined the United States Navy in 1945. He served for 4 years and 9 months. During those years, he completed a tour of duty during World War II and the Korean War as a Boilerman. He received an Honorable Discharge as a Petty Officer 3rd Class E4. He returned to work at Reynolds Aluminum plant and retired after 40 years of dedicated service. In his former years, Robert was a Boy Scout Master, Troop #813. He had many passions, music, dancing, gardening, vegetable canning, and mowing his lawn. Robert also enjoyed playing card games and Bingo. He always made sure that he went to the gym every day. He was loved and will be missed by many. Robert is now in the comfort of Jesus’s arms.
