    Robert Brown Allen

    October 20, 1941 - February 10, 2022

ROBERT BROWN ALLEN was born October 10,1941 in Wadesboro, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his mother Annie Bell Allen and his father Pearl Allen Sr. His sister Annie Ruth, brother Henry, Brother Pearl Allen Jr. His sister Irene Fontaine, his brother James Roosevelt Allen. Robert attended Anson County Elementary. He moved to Baltimore, Maryland where he attended Dunbar High School. He later went to Morgan State University, before going into military. Which he chose to become a military officer. He enjoyed his service career. Once he came home, he worked several jobs he enjoyed. But his number one love was being a bus operator for 42 years with MTA. Robert has had a full life. He enjoyed fishing with the guys especially their once a year fishing trips. Also monthly breakfast with the guys whenever their available to go. Absolutely nothing beat him going to racetrack and playing his daily lottery. Every morning Robert would go to store to get his daily paper. He always said his day was done by noon and now he can relax and watch ESPN. He enjoyed church because he grew up in a family were church was a requirement. He was a member of Christ Methodist Church. Robert enjoyed good conversation he could talk for hours about lottery, fishing, politics and the bible. My uncle was the ultimate bachelor and he will be truly missed by family and friends. Be at peace my Uncle Robert and go with God to Glory. He leaves behind his niece Shenetha Ann Jones, niece Audrey Allen, nephew Carlton Allen, also his sister law Hallie Allen and many friends.
