Rebecca Coleman Tisdale Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Rebecca Coleman Tisdale, affectionately known as Beck or Becky, 72 of Richmond, Virginia was suddenly called home to be with the Lord on April 18, 2022. Rebecca was born on November 18, 1948, to the late John and Maxine Coleman of Ashland, Virginia. She graduated from John M. Gandy High School in Ashland, VA in 1968. She furthered her education at Virginia Union University and later received her degree in Business at Strayer University. Beck was baptized at Brown Grove Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. M.W. Raney. Later in life, she joined Living Word Tabernacle where she was a faithful member and a trustee until her untimely death. Beck worked for the Richmond Visitors Bureau where she was employed for many years. Later she became a Loan Officer at Mortgage Star where she worked until she retired. After retirement, one would find Beck working in her flower bed and beautifying her yard. If she wasn’t in her yard, you would find her in her sister’s yard. She loved spending time with her sister, who was her best friend, and her great-niece and great-nephew, Taylor and Jordan. Beck enjoyed shopping for clothes and shoes. You would always see her looking “fly and fabulous”. She leaves to cherish her memories; sister, Mahala (Rose) Hall; nephew, Rodney (Cassandra) Hall; great-nephew, Jordan, and great-niece, Taylor Hall and a host of cousins and friends, one devoted, Clara Jackson. Beck will be greatly missed by all who knew her, and her memories will last forever in our hearts.
