Lynnette C. Dickerson
November 8, 1962 - February 8, 2022
Lynnette Chandra Dickerson (born Lynnette Chandra Brown) the loving daughter of the David and pearl Brown was bon on November 8, 1962 in Baltimore, Maryland. Lynnette entered eternal rest after a short, but brave battle with cancer on February 8, 2022. She attended Saint Mary’s Catholic School in Baltimore for most of her educational career, She left Catholic School in 1976 and graduated Northern High School in 1980. “Lynn” as she was affectionately known to family and friends was a true pillar of her community. She was a kindhearted person who wouldn’t hesitate to welcome you into her home and would treat you like one of her children. A fiercely protective mother and a dedicated friend, Lynn was small in stature, but possessed the rare ability of having a presence (and tell it like it is attitude) that commanded the utmost respect. Perhaps Lynn was known most for her beautiful (wide) smile or sense of humor, but one could argue that I will be her bigger heart that will be missed the most. Lynn worked for many years as a teller at Gold’s Check Cashing. Whether it be cheering on her favorite football team, The Baltimore Ravens, eating crab, and playing cards, Lynn loved creating lasting memories with everyone. And when she wasn’t at home or work, you can catch her at the Horseshoe Casino playing the slot machines. Or listening to the radio, trying to sing the lyrics to the newest song out. Her mornings were spent watching her favorite daytime TV shows; Maury and the Price is Right. Her Evenings were spent watching Wheel of Fortune, Family Feud and other games shows while enjoying the two things that would become synonymous with her name, an ice cold Pepsi that was always accompanied by a perfectly rolled blunt. In her later years she dedicated her time to being a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother. This is perhaps what she took the most pride in. Lynn is preceded in death by her parents, David and Pearl and oldest brother, Earl Lynn leaves to cherish her loving memory, husband Eric, daughters Shanica and Donika and son Darryl. Stepdaughter, Caterria: three siblings, Blanche (Matthew). Duane (Carmel) and Carl (Phyllis); grandchildren Jasmine, Kenice, Shanell, Lynnae, Bryant, Bella and “grand dog” Issac two great grandchildren, Aiden and Ziyon. And a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Although Lynn’s loved ones were unprepared for the untimely death, we take comfort in knowing that in the true Lynn fashion, she was a fighter up until the very end we will cherish the memory of her loving heart for eternity.
