Lillie Evans was born on June 18,1932 to Lillie Mae and Alfred Ceciero Douglas in Manhattan, New York. On Monday. May 2,2022, she transitioned from earthly labor to her heavenly reward, surrounded by her loving family. Lillie, lovingly referred to as "Aunt Annie", touched many lives and leaves a rich legacy of love, grace, and faith. She was kind-hearted, soft-spoken, and possessed a smile that was so bright and beautiful that it would light up any room she entered. Throughout her life, she has resided in Hempstead, New York, Richmond, Virginia, and Durham, North Carolina. Lillie loved the Lord with her entire heart. She showed her love for God by sharing God's love and grace with the people she met and through her love for gardening. Family was a very important part of Aunt Lillie's life. She met and married the love of her life, her husband, Marian Evans, and they shared a fulfulling life together. She was a prominent source of love and support to her siblings, nieces, and nephews, many of whom she treated as her children. Lillie valued spending time with her family and the impact that she had on our lives is immeasurable. She was a phonomenal, auntie and she will truly be missed. Lillie was preceded in death by her parents, Lillie Mae and Alfred Douglas; husband, Marian Evans; sisters, Hermione Turner, Althea L. Muckle; and Ruby Crosland; niece, Michelle Muckle; nephews, Kirk Muckle and David Evans; and brother-in-law,Earl Evans. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory, nieces, Irene Jackson,Rene`Hill (Darnell) ,Lana Smith,Jeena Quansah (Philit) ,Melanie Thomas (Bobby) , and Celeste Evans; nephews, Georgie Muckle, Brian Evans (LaSheryl) ,Jamaal Edwards and Dr. Elmore E.
