Lewis Walden

LEWIS O. WALDEN JR., son of the late Flossie A. Walden and Lewis O. Walden Sr., was born in Danville, Virginia on January 30, 1953. He departed this life on November 8, 2021. Lewis received his education in the Baltimore City Public Schools and was a graduate of Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School. During his time at Mergenthaler, Lewis joined the R.O.T.C. While in R.O.T.C. he became interested in the Armed Forces and enlisted upon graduation. Lewis served in the United States Armed Forces for thirty years before retiring. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Expert (M- 16) Parachute Rigger. Lewis O. Walden Jr. leaves to mourn his passing: three daughters, Cotina Lee of North Carolina, Chekija Walden-Ellis of Texas and Alaska Walden of Baltimore, Maryland; fve sons, Lewis O. Walden III and James Walden of Georgia, Antonio Walden of Florida, Macqueline Yarrell of Arizona and Teraz Walden of Baltimore, Maryland; fve sisters, Cynthia Walden-Baker of California, Stairnell Walden of Baltimore, Maryland, Barbara Walden, Stephanie Walden, Tanginika Walden all of Los Angeles, California; one brother, Antonio Walden of Los Angeles, California; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
