Larry Corbertt was born on September 10, 1978, at Johns Hopkins Hospital to Denisia Coleman and Larry Corbertt. Larry departed this life Thursday, June 2, 2022. Larry was raised by his two aunts, Tammy Davis and Tara Keels and his late grandmother, Vernice Corbertt. Larry attended Lombard Middle and High Schools. Larry was employed at “Up To Date Laundry” and Memorial Baptist Church. He enjoyed dancing and making friends. He loved to protect his female cousins. Larry loved to protect his female cousins. He loved to be around his family especially his brother, Marcel, if you saw one you saw the other. Larry was also close to his cousins, Tamara Potts (who he also considered to be his sister), Kanisha Monroe, LaKeisha Davis, Tina Davis, Ben Wilburn, and his younger cousin, Alex Davis. He was a strong man, with a smile that could light up the whole room. He enjoyed music, singing, and playing basketball on his game system. His two favorite songs were “Give Me the Loot” by Biggie and “Wipe Me Down” by Little Boosie, but his favorite song was “Give Me the Loot” which he liked to sing with one of his favorite cousins, Michelle Davis, better known as “Dana”. Larry will be missed by many. He has joined his late brother, Tyrell; grandmother, Vernice; and cousin, Ben. Larry leaves to cherish his memory: two sons, Donyae and Dylontey; a daughter, Domnique; three grandchildren, Lamont, Zander, and Dior; five brothers, Marty, Rome, Wendell, Glen and Earl; aunts, Tara and Tammy Ross; uncles, Curtis and Terry; friends, Monica and Anthony; other relatives and friends.
