    Larla Sirleta Dunston

    January 13, 1956 - April 7, 2021

JOY For ye shall go with joy and be led forth with peace: the moun tains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the fields shall clasp their hands. Isaiah 55:12 Larla Dunston exchanged her cross for a crown on April 7, 2021 having heard the Savior say well done good andfaithful servant. Born on January 17, 1956 (65) in Richmond, VA. Larla was the daughter of the late Norman and Mary Dunston. She was a phenomenal woman who was faithful, educated,family-oriented and well-loved. Larla sought a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized at Woodville Church of Nazarene. She was educated in the Richmond and Henrico Public School Systems, graduating from Highland Springs High School, Henrico County, in 1975 and received her Associate's Degree in Business Management and Administration from J. Sergeant Reynolds Community College, Richmond, VA in 1990. Larla worked at Capital One for over 30 years. After leaving Capital One she became a substitute teacher for the Henrico Coun ty School District. Larla was a devoted daughter; she moved up the street from her parents so she could look out and take care of them. Once becoming ill, Larla was no longer able to continue to care for them; she actually felt guilty for being ill. Her heart be longed to the LORD, her daughter Chloe' and her two grandchil dren, James and Nolan. Larla was proceeded in death by brother Carol Almond and favorite Uncle James Tharrington, left to cherish her memory is her devoted daughter Chloe' Dunston (Jonathan), grandsons James Seldon Jr., Nolan Dunston, sisters Agnes Hawkins (Karvonsa), Rosalind Spruill (Chestine), brothers Leroy Tharrington and Timothy Johnson. Devoted friends Gail Beatty, Cynthia Harvey (Cookie), Beverly George, Patricia Cooper and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives andfriends.
