LaMonte` Devon Pollard

In my Father’s House are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:2 LaMonté Devon Pollard was born into a loving family on July 14, 1981, to Larry Pollard and Dianne Pollard in Richmond, Virginia. LaMonté attended the Richmond Public Schools System where he received his formal education. He later ventured into purchasing a van and started his own business, Moving Transportation. Wanting to further expand his business, he then contracted with Go To Work Transportation. LaMonté enjoy the transportation business and having his own to provide for his family. He will be remembered by his loving smile and big heart. He was a wonderful provided that loved his taking care of his family. Often he would get together with friends to watch them “Boys”. LaMonté would believe that the Dallas Cowboys were going to the Super Bowl every year. LaMonté was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bolling Pollard, Sr., and Wilbur Edmunds; grandmother, Mildred Pollard; aunt, Doshie Ragsdale; and his uncle, Kenneth Pollard. He leaves to cherish his memories to loving his wife for the last 11 years, Shunean Pollard; daughter, Monté Jah Pollard; step-children, Avion Richardson, Ty’viona Richardson; father, Larry Pollard; mother, Diane Pollard; stepmother, Dianne Pollard; sister, Latoya Greene, Summer, Ashley, Jamie Pollard; brother, Jordan Pollard; step-brother, Terrence Gurley; grandmother, Marmie Edmunds; grandfather, Henry Burns; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. To have touched so many lives bears testament to the fact that his purpose was divine.
