    Kim Renee Perry

    April 6, 1960 - November 27, 2021

Kim Renee Perry (Evans) was born April 6, 1960 in Baltimore, MD to the late Mary E. Evans and Guilford P. Evans. Her spirit departed this earth to be with the Lord on November 27, 2021. Kim received her education in the Baltimore County Public School system. She graduated from Woodlawn High School and from there began her prosperous career in culinary arts. Kim was passionate about her craft in the food industry and providing excellent care for others. She retired from the food industry after working numerous years in different hospitals. More important than her career in the food industry, was her love and devotion for her family. Kim was the rock of her family and the glue that held them all together. Wherever she resided, she was known by all. When she stepped into a room, her spirit easily radiated. Kim’s hobbies always involved hosting gatherings for her family and spending time with her loved ones. If her family was around, she always had a smile on her face. She put her family first and never asked for anything. Kim was a fighter; she fought for her family, and for her life until the very end. Kim was a devoted, loving and committed wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Everyone who knew Kim knows that she was strong-willed and dedicated to her loved ones. Kim was preceded in death by her late husband, Alfred (Albo) Barber, of 15 years of marriage and from that union came three beautiful children. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Renard (Randy) Nash, Steven (Ricky) Nash, Denorris (Norsie) Evans, and Clayton (Mousie) Nash. Kim has found peace. Her earthly labors are over. She hopes the love she has extended throughout her entire life will sustain those she leaves behind. Mourning the loss, yet rejoicing in her victory is her devoted husband, Charles Perry of 9 years of marriage. Charles, a loving and committed husband, stood by Kim’s side through sickness and health until her departure. She also leaves to mourn her loving children, Maurice Barber, Gregory Barber, and Tamika Barber, who adored her beyond words; her cherished step-children, her caring siblings: Jonathan Nash, Constancia (Connie) Davis, Kelvin (Tate) Evans, Soldarres (Darryl) Evans, Pamela Evans (Pam) and Regina Evans; her precious grandchildren: Martina Barber, Gregory Barber Jr., Javon Long, Maurice Barber Jr., and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. On Saturday, November 27, 2021 in the quiet early morning hours, God reached out and called his daughter home. She peacefully transitioned to an abundant life into the arms of God as her family surrounded her. God called! Kim answered. Rest well dear one. Your legacy will live on.
