    Justina Crewe Johnson

    August 14, 1961 - February 21, 2022

On Monday, February 21, 2022, God called His most blessed angel home, Justina Crewe Johnson and the angels in Heaven rejoiced. She was born in Charles City, Virginia on August 14, 1961 to the late Lewis Thomas Greene and Delois D. Greene. She was educated in the Charles City School System and graduated from Charles City High School. She furthered her education and received her associate degree in Richmond, Virginia. Justina accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She was a member of Little Elam Baptist Church in Charles City, Virginia. She had plans to wed her fiance’ Roosevelt L. Coleman in New Kent, Virginia. She was employed by Henrico County Public School System as a Custodian Supervisor for seven years. She formerly worked for New Kent Public Schools in the custodian division as supervisor. In her leisure she enjoyed shopping, dancing, yard selling and spending time with family. She was a people person that would always be there for you in your time of need. Justina served her family with gladness and was known for her loving kindness and generosity towards others. She was a blessing in the lives of all she touched. Justina was a very caring person and will forever be missed, but never forgotten. Justina cherished spending time with her family and was a loving sister and a giving person of faith. She was the light of her family and was a true reflection of God’s love. She is preceded in death by her two brothers, Sheldon Greene and Andre Tabb; and her sister, Jenell D. Tabb “aka Sis”. She leaves to cherish her memory and legacy to her two sons, Jonta L. Johnson and Monta A. Crewe; brothers, Lewis Greene, Douglas Tabb, Lloyd Tabb, Marvin Tabb and William Tabb (Athelia); sisters, Lois A. Greene, Cynthia Hampton (Thomas), Fostina Bradby (Eric), Cynthia Tabb, Sharon Jones, and Gayle Bowman (Glenn); devoted aunt, Teresa Brown; loving cousin, Gail Baker and Senorita Cotman; loving niece, Tasha N. Henderson; five grandchildren, Monta Brown, Monquisha Brown, Montajah Crewe, Sayvion Braxton and Nyazia Claiborne; one great-grandchild, Iyanah Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1
