Jonette Sydnor

JONETTE SYDNOR, affectionately known as Pumpkin, was the beloved daughter of the late Juanita Stephens and Lazarus Sydnor. Pumpkin was born on December 8, 1947 and departed this life on October 31, 2021 after a short illness. She fought a good fght but God knew how much she could bear and set her free to rest. Jonette received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System and worked in Food Services until she retired in 2009. She was baptized at the Ebenezer Baptist Church where she was a member of the Sunday School as well as the Bible Study classes. She participated in the Missionary Ministry serving food to the homeless. Jonette began serving as a Deaconess in June 2010. Jonette was a devoted grandmother, and she made the best peanut butter chocolate chip cake that everybody loved! Jonette leaves to cherish her memory: her son, Wayne Wells; daughter, Rosalind Smith; sister, Joan Player; two brothers, Larry and Michael Sydnor; four grandchildren, Racquel, Christopher, Charmanique and Savannah; three great-grandchildren, Peyton, Kinsley and Chase; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceding her in death are: son, Keith Jones; two sisters, Lauretta and Betty Sydnor; and one brother, James Sydnor
