Jamal D. Shelton
October 2, 1981 - October 22, 2021
Jamal Donnell Shelton was born on October 2, 1981 in Baltimore, MD to Theresa Shelton and Alfred Winder Jr. he departed this life on Friday October 22, 2021 peacefully and without pain. Jamal graduated from Lake Clifton School in 1999. He worked in the field of transportation with First Student bus Company, City/Wide Allender Bus Company and Reliable Transportation Bus company. Jamal love engaging people and helping anyway he could. He had a love for children and enjoyed volunteering coaching your children in football for over 10 + yrs. He coached the Parkside Warriors and the Baltimore Elite and continued with his service until God called him home. Jamal loved his family and making people laugh with jokes was a gift only he could give. If there was a family gathering, he was there. Jamal believed in God and lived his life doing his will by giving back all the talents he was blessed with, helping those in need, like his boys on the Football teams. He just wanted them to achieve their goals and become the best that they could be . Jamal love spending time with his cousins hanging out on Chapel and Lanvale joking and talking about what was going on in their lives. He put his footprint on the lives of them all. Jamal endured the fact that he always had someone to talk to when he just needed a smile, hear a suggestion, or just for someone to listen. This kept him motivated to continue his work. Jamal loved his niece and nephew and spending time with them was a joy he looked forward to. He loved his parents and spent time helping his mother and spending time with her shopping, playing spades, and going on family trips. Jamal had a special bond with his grandmother Ethelmae. Jamal was preceded in death by his grandmothers: Ethel Mae Williams and Geneva Winders, Grandfathers: John Williams, Alfred Winder Sr., and Raymond Shelton Sr. (Red Daddy), great uncle James Dean, aunt Diane Malloy, and Uncle Raymond Shelton.
