Jack Lee Rasberry Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

JACK LEE RASBERRY was born to Jake Howard and Victoria Eaddy in Dover, North Carolina. "Uncle Jackie" as he was affectionately called by his family graduated from Newbold High School in Dover, North Carolina. "Uncle Jackie" later followed his only sister Betsy Oglesby who preceded him in death to Baltimore, Maryland in 1975. Once in Baltimore Uncle Jackie got a job a Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center where he retired. He married Barbara Rasberry who preceded him in death. He helped Barbara raise her two sons, Robert Booker (Baltimore, Maryland) and Willie Booker (Sarasota, Florida) until they divorced. he later met the love of his life Angie in 1994 who he remained with until his untimely passing. Uncle Jackie loved to cook his popular "Onions Burgers" for his nieces and nephews who he helped raise, Victoria Marshall (Linwood Marshall) Fort Barnwell, North Carolina, Theresa Pankey (Alphonso Pankey) Baltimore, Maryland, Robert Oglesby (Raquel Oglesby) Houston, Texas, and Frank Oglesby (Deleia Oglesby) Fountain Inn, South Carolina. Uncle Jackie also leaves to cherish his memory: two aunts, Parmela Parker (Baltimore, Maryland) and Cora Thomas (North Carolina); and a host of great-nieces and nephews.
