    Ivy W. Hines-Musgrove

    June 2, 1941 - March 14, 2022

    In my Father’s House are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:2 Ivy Winnifred Hines Musgrove was born into a loving family on June 2, 1941 in Westmoreland, Jamaica to Zephaniah and Caroline Hines. She passed on Monday, March 14, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by her family. Ivy attended school in Jamaica West Indies class of 1959. Following graduation, she attended practical nursing school in Jamaica. After nursing school, she moved to Florida to attend her clinicals at Ft. Lauderdale Technical College and CNA course at the Government Center. She loved to work with people. Ivy was a member of St. Paul’s Baptist Church for 23 years where she was part of Senior’s Group, Refiner Ministry, and Hospitality Greeters and loved her SPBC family. She is predeceased by her parents, Zephaniah and Caroline Hines; siblings, Selvin and Eileen Hines; and her daughter, Claudette Davis. Ivy is survived by her children, Marlene Henley, Rose Musgrove, Nichole (Mandingo) Haywood; twelve grandchildren: Patrick Beckford, Raysen Davis, Rahieme Davis (Pamesa), Shamika (Gatumbi) Gathuka, Mikeia Musgrove, Tracey (Jovinae) Richardson Jr., Tranika (Rakie) Singleton, Brandon Walker, Jacques Walker, Brianna Walker, Travhaungh Richardson, and Maurice Sawyer; nine great-grandchildren; siblings, Neville (Yvonne) Hines, Ina Hines; sister-in-law, Patricia Hines; son-in-law, Reginald Davis; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
