Ms. Ibreeta Thompson
March 15, 1953 - April 14, 2021
IBREETA THOMPSON, beloved daughter of the late Samuel Phillip Finch and Ella Mae Thompson, was born on March 15, 1953 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on April 14, 2021 after a lengthy illness. Ibreeta had a passion for cooking and caring for the elderly and disabled. Her early employment at Beehive Restaurant and Mount Royal Restaurant is where she showcased her culinary skills. Later, she began working at Home Care for the elderly and disabled. Ibreeta was baptized at the Second Baptist Church as a child and was a member of an all girls gospel singing group. Nothing brought her more joy than hosting family gatherings. Family was everything to her. Cookouts were her favorite way of spending time with family and friends. Ibreeta loved helping out and being there for anyone in their time of need. She took great joy in giving and helping. She always knew how to get a lot out of a little. She made friends wherever she went. She will be missed by all who came to know her and her joyful spirit. She leaves to cherish her memory: her brother, Curtis R. Thompson; the love of her life, Wesley Jones; aunt, Eva Miller; stepdaughters, Nicole Jones and Tinika Jones; her son and daughter, Bolder Braxton Jr. and Starr Jones; cousins, Michael, Tommy, Rodney, Rosemary, Rony, Phillis and V.I. Netta; close friend, Sheryl Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends
