Harriett Wilson
December 4, 1961 - September 2, 2021
Harriet Elizabeth Wilson was born on December 4, 1961 to the late Regina Beatrice Wilson and Willie Houston. Harriet was called home to her eternal resting place on the morning of September 2, 2021. Harriet affectionately called Poogie by family and friends was raised in Towson. While close to all her siblings, she was particularly close to her late sister Hemina Saunders. Poogie had a zeal for life and a strong passion for making you feel loved. "I love you" was always departing words. She had a smile that would bright up a room. Driving through Hendrickson Lane you could find Poogie sitting in the window waiting to greet you with a strong "HEY" and would ask if you were, ok? Poogie had an open-door policy, and all were welcomed. Poogie was loved by all that knew her. Poogie loved Elvis Presley and his music, watching episodes of MacGyver and she enjoyed her daily ritual of checking Facebook and leaving her own personal messages of (Good Morning and Good Night). But the true loves of her life are her daughter Kim AKA Ms. Wilson and her grand-daughter Na-Na. Poogie was a true legend of the East Towson Community, and she will be truly missed. Harriett leaves to mourn: her daughter: Kimberly Nicole Wilson; one granddaughter: Taniyah Regina Dunn, two sisters: (late) Hermina Saunders, Kathleen Carter, five brothers: Kevin(Bo) Wilson, Michael Wilson, Frank Carter, Benjamin (Ben) Wilson, Nathaniel Johnson, Aunt: Ruth Hall; nieces, nephews, and friends; special friend Aisha Allen, Godsons: Cyrus Daughton, Burnard Dutton and when East Towson thinks about the days of old, we think about the inseparable friendship of Poogie and (late) Mytrice (Flash) Guy.
