    Harold G. Clark

    July 19, 1948 - February 20, 2022

Those who walk uprightly enter into peace: they find rest as they lie in death. Isaiah 57:2 Our beloved Harold G. Clark was born on July 19, 1948 in Wylliesburg, Virginia to Addie Clark and Lucille Clark. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Clark Elam; father, Addie Clark; sisters, Catherine Hopson, Ludene Clark, and Christine Williams; brothers, Eddie Clark and Nathaniel Clarke. He received his formal education in the Charlotte County Public School System and graduated from Central High School in Charlotte Courthouse, Virginia in 1966. Harold accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized with 1st Baptist Church of Wylliesburg, Virginia. In later years, he became a member of Gravel Hill Baptist Church. He was formally married to Annie Spencer. Their union was blessed with one child, Erica. Harold was drafted into the United States Army and served his country proudly. An honorable discharge was received after his time served. He retired from Verizon Telecommunications after 31 years of dedicated service. In his leisure, he loved to play music, throwing parties, celebrate with his family and friends and oh he has an avid love of cars. He leaves to cherish his memory: devoted Erica Clark; granddaughter, Dana Clark; sisters, Pauline McGhee, Louise Lee and devoted Claudine Clark, all of New Jersey; and devoted Irene Sally (Thurman) of Chase City, Virginia; a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended friends and family. “What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes part of us.”
