GRACE LAVERNE WHITE RHUE born to the late Naomi Stein White and Robert Martin on August 26, 1956. Preceeded in death by Phylicia White (Sister, Ann), Bill William Jackson (Brother Bill) and Timothy White (Brother). Grace loved to entertain and cook for her family and friends. Grace had four (4) long term goals to accomplish - get married, having a family, purchase a house and a car and lastly obtain a college degree. Grace did just that, her greater achievement was receiving bachelor of science degree from Coppin State University. Grace used this degree to begin her career as social worker for the department of social services for 23 years. Grace loved going on trips and vacations each year with her husband for 20 years. Grace loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. Rappers Delight was her favorite song. Grace was well coordinated; she matched her glasses, and hair to match every outfit. Grace kept a smile on her face throughout her entire life, even through illness. Grace gained her wings on Tuesday, May 25th. She leaves to mourn her husband (Johnny Rhue) two children, Cory White and Tiffany Wingate Santos, son-in-law Tony Santos 3 sisters Nuncita Johnson (Williams), Wanda White and Betty Ward (Cedric), and 1 brother Bobby Robert White, Aunt Doris Morton whom she loved so much (Miller Morton) whom proceeded her in death, Best Friends Pokey & Amy and a host of others, four (4) grandchildren - Dominique Gilliam, Haki Wingate, Malasia Wingate, & Christian Bogle. A long host of relatives and friends.
