Geraldine Miller
September 19, 1935 - December 23, 2021
GERALDINE MILLER was born on September 19, 1935, daughter of the late Gracie and Jessie Burger, in Lynchburg, Virginia. Geraldine passed away peacefully on December 23, 2021, at Seasons Hospice. Aunt Geraldine or Ms. Miller, as we all fondly called her, was the fifth of six children: Mary, Junior, Lorenzo, Bernalee, and DorothyMae, all of who preceded her in death. She moved to Baltimore at the age of six and was educated in the Baltimore public school system. Geraldine was always a fun-loving and joyful woman who enjoyed talking to and doing for others. She always loved to cook so that is why she worked so long in the food industry; she worked in diners and restaurants most of her career. She always showed care to all her patrons, she thought a lot of them and they thought a lot of her. She never complained and her famous words were always “I’m Fine”, whenever anyone asked her how she felt, that was her response. She always had a smile on her face. Geraldine was a member of Spirit of Truth Cathedral Church for many years under the direction of Bishop James Parson, Sr., where she loved to usher and sing in the choir. She loved doing God’s work. She later joined another Ministry under the direction of Pastor Shirley. Again, she was committed to the Lord and worked diligently in the church. Geraldine had three children, Albert, Dianna, and Mark, Jr., who preceded her in death. Geraldine leaves to cherish her memory: her faithful daughter-in-law, Gloria and her family; her grandchildren, Dorothy, Victoria, Ciana, and Mark III; nieces, nephews and cousins, a host of great- and great-greatnieces, -nephews, cousins, and friends.
